What is it?
The TechSharing Seminar Series is organised by a group of early career researchers from UCL’s Interaction Centre, eHealth Unit, Department of Clinical, Educational and Health Psychology, and Department of Behavioural Science & Health.
The series aims to foster knowledge exchange and future collaboration between academics, clinicians, policy makers and industry professionals working within or at the boundaries of health technologies and digital behaviour change interventions.
Seminar participants will be invited to attend three interlinked events to share their experiences of creating policy, research and/or commercial impact. Three interlinked seminars will explore opportunities for multidisciplinary collaboration and appropriate pathways to impact within the NHS; we intend to build a diverse and vibrant community of committed and enthusiastic professionals who will work together to develop a toolkit to support the development, evaluation and embedding of innovation in the NHS.
Who’s it for?
The seminars are aimed at anyone interested in the challenge of embedding meaningful innovation in the NHS. We particularly welcome contributions and interest from early career researchers and those who are actively working at the ‘coal face’ of digital health development, implementation and policy.
What’s in it for me?
Embedding innovation in the NHS is a multidisciplinary challenge and requires the collaborative input of a multidisciplinary community. We invite you to help us to build that community and harness its skills and experience in order to co-construct a meaningful digital health agenda.
Attendees will codesign an important “How to Guide”, which will:
i) provide information and evidence about innovation pathways within the NHS;
ii) outline procedures for impact;
iii) provide tools to diagnose and analyse areas for impact;
iv) facilitate planning for impact activities.
